Prestige off-road brand Land Rover has rationalised its Range Rover Velar model line-up for the 2020 model year (MY20), following the same process already applied to other Jaguar Land Rover products.

Formerly 64 variants, the Velar range has been pared back to 13 models, including the new, V8-powered Range Rover Velar P550 SVAutobiography Dynamic priced at $176,412 in Australia. In addition, Jaguar Land Rover Australia is maintaining stock of 20 other Velar variants in very limited quantities.

For the mainstream Velar models, the MY20 update otherwise comprises little more than minor spec changes. A new colour, Eiger Grey, replaces Corris Grey, and Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and digital radio (DAB+) are standard for all Velar variants. Prices have risen in accordance with the upgraded specification and the Velar range now looks as follows:

Velar D180 S – $82,263 (+$1077)
Velar D180 R-Dynamic S – $88,263 (+$1077)
Velar D240 SE – $97,723 (+$627)
Velar D240 R-Dynamic SE – $103,273 (+$1077)
Velar D300 HSE – $120,554 (+$1446)
Velar D300 R-Dynamic HSE – $126,554 (+$1446)
Velar P250 S – $80,933 (+$1079)
Velar P250 R-Dynamic S – $86,933 (+$1079)
Velar P300 SE – $94,343 (+$1079)
Velar P300 R-Dynamic SE – $100,343 (+$1079)
Velar P380 HSE – $120,724 (+$1448)
Velar P380 R-Dynamic HSE – $126,724 (+$1448)
Velar P550 SVAutobiography Dynamic – $176,412 (new)
